We are sorry that our telephone lines are busy.
WE ARE NOT CLOSED, but for your safety and ours, we will be communicating through the telephone and not FACE TO FACE contact.
We will have our DOOR CLOSED and ask you to knock on the door if asked to attend the surgery.
We are limiting access to the surgery to maximum 2 patients at a time and 2 metre distancing strictly adherred to.
GPs/Advanced Nurse Practitioners will provide a telephone triage service and THEY will decide if it is safe and clinically appropriate, for any patient to enter the surgery premises.
If you already have an appointment booked. This will be switched to a telephone consultation. please keep your TELEPHONE switched on and the surgery will contact you asap.
PRESCRIPTION requests should be left in the basket in the porch or emailed to Chelsfield.Surgery@nhs.net and any samples (up to 11am each day) likewise in the box allocated in the porch.
Only REPEAT MEDICATION requests will be issued, ANY other medication will have to be discussed in a Telephone Triage Appointment which could be several days in advance, because of extreme demand.
All routine pre-booked nurse appointments will also be Telephone Triaged and if deemed safe and clinically appropriate then the patient will be asked to attend a face to face appointment.

If you are experiencing any of these symptoms (TEMPERATURE, NEW CONTINUOUS COUGH, SHORTNESS OF BREATH) you are advised by Public Health and the Government to self-isolate for 7 days, and if the symptoms do not improve then you should ring NHS 111.

A letter is not required in order to register to use this service. Please note, this service is available for those over 16 years of age only. Once you have registered online photo ID will need to be produced at Reception when you next visit the surgery so that full access can be given to appointment booking and repeat prescriptions.
Once successfully registered, online appointment booking, checking and cancellation will be available with your doctors. Up to two appointments at a time may be booked online.
Appointments may be booked online for individual GPs and also for our Advanced Nurse Practitioner.

Advanced Nurse Practitioner Appointments with Mandy Murrell
Our Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Mandy, can see patients for a range of appointments, with the exception of pregnant ladies, men with prostate/scrotal or testicular problems, acute bleeding, chest pain, severe depression, post natal check up and children under 2 years of age. For the above, patients should see a GP.
When booking appointments online, please give a reason. She is able to diagnose, prescribe and refer patients as a Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
She cannot see patients for Nurse Procedures, such as Smears, Travel Imms, Chronic Disease Management Reviews etc... during her Nurse Practitioner Clinic:

Appointments that cannot be booked online:-
Unfortunately appointments with nurses for immunisations, minor surgery, baby imms, smears etc...
will need to be booked either on the telephone or in person and cannot be booked online at present.
If you have received a letter regarding your eligibility for an NHS Health Check, then these are carried out by the Public Health Nurses on a Tuesday Morning, bookable at Reception and not online, and you must be in receipt of an invitation letter.
