Advanced Nurse Practitioners are Highly Qualified nurses, who can Diagnose, Arrange tests and Prescribe for many minor ailments.
Mandy's clinics run as follows:
Monday 09.30am - 2.30pm (Practice Nurse) and
3.30pm-6.30pm (Chronic Disease Management)
Diabetes, Asthma, COPD etc.
Tuesday 10.00am-1.30pm and 2.30pm-6.00pm (Adv.Nurse Practitioner)
Wednesday 9.00am-1.00pm and 2.00pm-5.00pm (Adv. Nurse Practitioner)
FROM 1ST SEPTEMBER 2019 – EXTENDED HRS FOR ALL LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY PRACTICES WILL BE OUTSOURCED TO BROMLEY ALLIANCE, and face to face appointments, telephone consultations and e-consultations will be supplied on behalf of the practice from the new Orpington Health & Well Being Centre (The Walnuts Orpington) and temporarily at the Ballater Surgery (Orpington)
She is able to deal with a multitude of ailments, some of which are listed below:
headaches, mild anxiety/depression, eyes, ears nose & throat, mild chest pain, chest infections, coughs, breast pain/lumps, abdominal pain/diarrhoea, contraception, PR bleeding, urine infections, cystitis, back and neck pain, joint and muscle pain, skin complaints/rashes, lumps and bumps.
She can see patients for a range of appointments, with the exception of pregnant ladies, men with prostate/scrotal or testicular problems, acute bleeding, severe chest pain, severe depression, post natal check up and children under 2 years of age. For the above, patients should see a GP.
